Jessica Cale, soprano

Jessica Cale is the First Prize winner of the 2020 Kathleen Ferrier Awards in addition to jointly winning the Audience Prize at the 2020 London Handel Festival Singing Competition. Jessica has a few months left of her studies with Rosa Mannion at the Royal College of Music International Opera Studio where she is the Robert Lancaster scholar. Jessica will mark the end of her time at the Royal College of Music by performing the title role of Rodelinda in July 2021. Jessica holds a Master of Performance with distinction from the Royal College of Music, and a First Class Honours degree from Cardiff University. Jessica is hugely grateful for the support of an Help Musicians UK Sybil Tutton Award, the Josephine Baker Trust and the Countess of Munster Trust.
